The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) has more than 100 convenient Park & Ride locations countywide. Most Park & Ride lots in LA County are free. Some offer reserved spaces for a fee, while a few others have paid parking only.

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) has 19 convenient Park & Ride locations countywide with more than 2,000 parking spaces. The Park & Ride lots in Orange County are free but some do require a permit. These Park & Ride locations are in addition to the 11 Metrolink Stations where train commuters may park.
